2017 Fundraising Dinner & Silent Auction

Sail All is a program which aims to provide opportunities in sailing, particularly for youth, regardless of financial constraint.  Their main program, their school sailing program, had over 500 local students from Grades 5-9 participate this season at three yacht clubs (BBYC, HSC and LYC).

The Sail All program is a key part in expanding the young, local membership of local yacht clubs in the coming years, and many current instructors and sailors have volunteered or helped with the program.

Cocktail hour begins at 6pm, with dinner being served at 7pm.  The dinner will be $55 (including tax & gratuity), with the menu featured below:

• 1 glass house red OR white wine
• Curried butternut squash soup OR Strawberry & avocado salad
• Maple rum salmon OR Pork tenderloin with cider and calvados jus, served with broccoli and lemon & garlic fingerling potatoes
• Chocolate torte OR apple crisp with ice cream

The event is open to both members and non-members at LYC, and is a great opportunity to check out LYC's facilities!  If you know parents with children at local schools who have participated, or have other guests in mind, please invite them!

There will be silent auction items, and Sail All volunteers there to help if you’d like to make a donation to the program.
