Canadian Yachting recently featured us in their email newsletter.
On Saturday, July 29th, 2017, LYC will be hosting the annual fundraising dinner and silent auction for Sail All. You can RSVP here: http://bit.ly/2eFtnZF
Sail All is a program which aims to provide opportunities in sailing, particularly for youth, regardless of financial constraint. Their main program, their school sailing program, had over 500 local students from Grades 5-9 participate this season at three yacht clubs (BBYC, HSC and LYC).
The Sail All program is a key part in expanding the young, local membership of local yacht clubs in the coming years, and many current instructors and sailors have volunteered or helped with the program.
Cocktail hour begins at 6pm, with dinner being served at 7pm. The dinner will be $55 (including tax & gratuity), with the menu featured below:
There will be silent auction items, and Sail All volunteers there to help if you’d like to make a donation to the program.
We ask that you please RSVP with your meal choices by Wednesday, July 26. Preferred method is via the form linked here, but you can also RSVP by email to email@example.com.
Hope to see you there!
Our Annual Report for 2016 is here!
We had a great season - over 500 student participants, 11 schools participating (our most ever), and we brought our organization to a new level.
We're continuing our progress in 2017 - we've expanded our board, and are examining our options for bringing the program to even more students!

The 2016 Season is Here!
The 2016 season is coming quickly, and we're very excited at Sail All! We've got a number of great changes coming to the program which are going to make it even better this year, and much easier to expand in the future.
This year we're going to be back at Lunenburg Yacht Club, Hubbards Sailing Club, and Bedford Basin Yacht Club. The first big change this year comes with funding.
We're making a big push to move away from ALL grant funding, which means we need lots of help from our supporters and sponsors.
If you would like to support Sail All, either personally or via your company or business, please check out our sponsorship options!
If you can't support us, please share this post and ask someone you know to consider it. We appreciate your help!

Thank you for your continuing support!
We are now in the midst of another season of Sail All, and despite the weather this winter and spring, we are pleased to say that we now have three yacht clubs and 10 schools participating in Sail All!
It would not be possible without the generous help of our sponsors, who we are pleased to present below!
Please think of them fondly next time you require one of their services!
We're super excited about the upcoming season for Sail All, as it's our first year with some new yacht clubs!
Hubbards Sailing Club and Bedford Yacht Club have both stepped up as the first expansion clubs for Sail All. With these groups on board, we are going to be able to reach many more youth and get them interested in sailing!
We've also been working hard to include more schools at each club we offer the Sail All program. As of today, we have confirmed the following schools for each yacht club:
Lunenburg Yacht Club:
Hubbards Sailing Club:
Bedford Basin Yacht Club: TBD
We had our first in-school presentation take place today, and are also currently working on finding sponsors...please let us know if you'd like to support the program either personally or through your business!
Can't wait to start sailing!
Our 2014 Annual Report is finished! We had another record year, and have some big things in store for 2015. Find out more about how the program went last year here:
We are part of the Aviva Community Fund competition for the second year.
